This comes after the NPFL club was banned from registering new players due to a pay dispute with a former player.

FIFA decided to lift the ban after the player, Mohamadou Souley Salamoun, confirmed that he had received his outstanding salaries from the club.

In response to the lifting of the ban, Katsina United wasted no time in bolstering their squad, adding four new players. The NPFL side are also expected to make further signings before the start of the upcoming campaign.

Katsina United’s first game of the new season will be against Plateau United.
